Acceptance and Support when things are changing

Hello! I am a counsellor and psychotherapist in North Sheffield (S35 area) and currently have availability.

About Me / Experience

I am friendly, warm and accepting and can help with a wide range of issues. You may have anxiety or depression, you may be:

  • moving through life stages / transition

  • adjusting to a diagnosis - like autism

  • a young adult starting something or leaving home

  • struggling with societal change and expectations

  • finding, discovering, doubting or rejecting faith or a church, religion or group

Or something else. >> About me / experience

Counselling / What to Expect

Counselling can be a space to explore who you are, what matters to you and what is happening in your life. It can help in times of unusual challenge or difficulty; when you feel ready to explore the impact of past pain; or in navigating recurring or routine challenges.

It can feel daunting and confusing or mysterious at first and your counsellor should be able to help with this.

Here is a short overview of what you can expect from my counselling and what to look when working with a psychotherapist

Book a Free Chat

I would love to chat to you about why you are interested in counselling. I will never apply any pressure to work with me and hope you will find it easy to ask for a free, short conversation via this site.

We can then talk about next steps.

I am easily accessible for and keen to work with people in Chapeltown, High Green, Ecclesfield and surrounding areas of Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham. I also work in central Sheffield and online.

Blog

I sometimes write blog posts about counselling, popular culture and theory.

I try to make these jargon free and hope they may be useful for learning about therapy, when counselling might be useful or what being a client is like.

I usually relate the posts to ‘change’. I never write about clients.
